feurstein was founded in 1867. Today, it is an innovation leader in the production of specialty and functional papers for the cigarette and packaging industry. We develop, produce, and distribute the next generation of functional, sustainable, and tailor-made packaging papers at our mill in Traun, Austria. The tram and train stations are within walking distance, and the Traun freeway exit is only a few minutes’ drive from our location. Flexible & Family-friendly
We offer flexible part-time and flextime models, as well as home office, in many areas and subject to operational feasibility. In production, our colleagues work in a work-ergonomic shift model, consisting of 2 mornings, 2 afternoons, 2 night shifts, and 4 days off. Extremely family and leisure friendly!

We stick together
Proactive cooperation and cohesion are important to us. What better way to foster this than through fun events in an informal atmosphere with delicious food and drink!? That’s why we regularly offer employee events, from ski days to summer and Christmas parties. Everyone, from the apprentice to the managing director, is involved.
Nothing works without information, which is why we publish our employee newspaper “pepa – people and paper” twice a year, in which we inform about all the news and developments at feurstein.
