Hello and welcome to the feurstein paper mill. You’ve probably heard of us before, haven’t you? If not: we belong to the international delfort group and are very #proud that we are #1 for specialty papers for the packaging and cigarette industry. Here at our location in Traun, around 300 employees develop and produce our cool papers on three paper machines. You can see these papers in use in the well-known burger restaurant with the large yellow “M”. 😉
Used all over the world for all kind of burgers, our burger papers keep your fingers clean and the burgers nice and #fresh. But hey, we’ll go one better: Since you’re already at the “M”, take a look at the French fries bags! We will give you three guesses where the paper is from!
As you can probably imagine by now, these packaging papers for the food industry sell like hot fries, uhhh… buns. So, we are always on the lookout for new apprentices who want to make a decent career with us.
And best of all: Because we are part of the large international delfort group, you also have the opportunity to work at another location after you have successfully completed your training. Until that happens, our super nice apprenticeship trainers are your mentors and supporters, so you’ll soon be a true expert in your field!

That's why we developed 𝟵𝟱/𝟱 𝗳𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿-𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘁𝘀. They have been tested for recyclability according to the CEPI method and contain more than 95% paper content. At the same time, it is a clear commitment to the future of our site, strengthening our competitiveness, securing jobs, and reinforcing our role as a valued employer in the region.
