From day one, delfort has focused on producing specialty papers using responsibly managed raw materials and established sourcing standards.
A key raw material in many of our paper products is wood pulp. To support transparency in our fiber sourcing, we procure wood pulp from suppliers that hold FSC™ and/or PEFC certification. These certification systems include requirements related to forest management and supply chain traceability.

Certified fiber sourcing
Our wood pulp is sourced from suppliers certified according to FSC™ and/or PEFC certification schemes. These certifications provide independent verification of specified forest management and chain-of-custody requirements.
Certification standards include measures relating to forest regeneration, biodiversity considerations, harvesting practices, and supply chain controls. Details of certification requirements are defined by the respective certification organizations.
Supply chain transparency
In addition to supplier certification, our paper mills operate under FSC™ and/or PEFC Chain of Custody certification. Chain of Custody certification enables certified materials to be traced through the supply chain and helps ensure that certified and non-certified materials are managed according to certification requirements.
This approach supports transparency regarding the origin and status of certified fiber used in our products.
Legal compliance requirements
Our sourcing processes are designed to support compliance with applicable timber legality requirements relevant to our operations. This includes measures intended to prevent the inclusion of illegally harvested wood in our supply chain.
Supporting informed customer decisions
We recognize that many customers consider fiber sourcing practices when selecting paper-based materials. FSC™ and PEFC certifications provide independent information about sourcing standards and chain-of-custody controls, helping customers make informed purchasing decisions.
