delfort has been recognized by the global environmental non-profit organization CDP in all three categories with the rating of B/B- for its management in corporate transparency and environmental performance. delfort received a B rating in forests and a B- rating in climate change and water security.
CDP uses a detailed and independent method to evaluate companies from A to D based on the comprehensiveness of disclosure, awareness and management of environmental risks. Our result demonstrates that we have achieved a significant level of transparency and that all three areas are actively managed.
In 2007 delfort made a clear commitment to make sustainability one of the key focuses of our corporate activity. Since then, we have managed to reduce our carbon emissions significantly, we now need less water than ever before for our production processes and the electricity that we use largely comes from renewable sources. Furthermore, we have committed to reducing our greenhouse gas emissions to net-zero to contribute to the reduction of global warming. At the beginning of 2023, we ratified our commitment to this goal by signing the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi) Net-Zero Standard.
Our great score is a positive recognition of delfort’s ongoing efforts to promote and enhance sustainable practices over the long term.
