Legal Counsel Commercial Law and Compliance (f/m/d)

Your tasks

  • Negotiate, draft and review commercial contracts for all business areas as well as IP related contracts and assist in legal contract documentation
  • Provide legal advice to all business units as well as local and global subsidiaries and give them fast and efficient business-minded legal support on contract, compliance and IP matters
  • Assist in developing and implementing new internal processes, policies and training as needed, based on legal and regulatory requirements, industry standards and best practice in the area of compliance and general commercial law
  • Manage and work with external counsel on contract matters, contract disputes and regulatory updates in the area of compliance
  • Maintain flexibility and readiness to take on other assignments requiring legal expertise in the area of Mergers & Acquisition and Corporate Governance

Your profile

  • Law School Degree
  • At least five years of professional general commercial law experience in an international environment, ideally law firm and/or multi-national company
  • Basic knowledge in compliance matters and Intellectual Property
  • Experience in giving fast and efficient business-minded legal support
  • Ability to collaborate efficiently with all functions, build partnerships and have a flexible mindset to changes
  • Team player, flexible and self-organized working style
  • Strong commitment to excellence together with loyalty, honesty, respect and business ethics
  • Business-fluent German and English language skills
  • Keen on familiarizing yourself with new subject areas

The minimum salary for this position according to the collective bargaining agreement of Austrian paper industry is EUR 4,141.40 gross per month. The actual compensation package will naturally be agreed on based on your qualification and experience in line with the market conditions.
