duration & phases

PROGRAM length: 18 months

Acquire the necessary skill set to succeed within your selected area of expertise, conduct a job rotation abroad and receive comprehensive training possibilities and coaching from your manager.

Once you’ve been introduced to our creative and collaborative culture during an onboarding phase, you will be ready to carry out tasks and manage projects independently. Of course, you can count on professional coaching from your manager throughout the program.

 The program is divided into four steps 

Step 1: Onboarding and Introduction: 1 month
Step 2: Home Country Phase: 10-12 months
Step 3: Job Rotation: 4-6 months
Step 4: Transition into New Role within Delfort: 1 month

Gain international work experience through a job rotation to one or more of our delfort sites abroad!

The trainee program is kicked off and concluded with a special event for all program participants. We invite you to broaden your horizon and build a foundation for a successful career at delfort!

requirements & application

The objective of the trainee program is to learn how to creatively and effectively master challenges in an exciting and dynamic work environment in the paper and printing industry. Therefore, you should be able to work independently and flexibly. Furthermore, in order to become part of our international trainee program, you should fulfill the following requirements:

  • University degree – Bachelor or Master,
  • Fluency in English,
  • The knowledge of additional foreign languages is an advantage,
  • Be willing to travel internationally,
  • Professional experience in your chosen area is a plus, and
  • Be ready to go the extra mile!
