Machine builder HDG has been producing paper packaging since the 1980s. Their horizontal form, fill and seal machines effortlessly produce food and non-food packaging using delfort’s specialty papers. Packaging for foods such as baking mixes, oats and rice and non-food items such as apparel, toys, and accessories can be produced, easily allowing converters and brands to switch to paper packaging.

- The innovative HDG pressure Seal Module enables the easy production, filling and sealing of paper pouches. Sealing can be done using pressure, which uses up to 34% less energy consumption than conventional sealing processes. Due to this outstanding new technology, further heat-sealable layers can be skipped, and resources can easily be saved.
- Pressure Seal Bags can be made from 50mm x 50mm up to 400mm x 250mm with various bag styles possible such as 3-edge seal bags and bottom fold bags with an output range of up to 70 cycles/min.
- Barrier papers can run on all HDG machines, including the RB-series & BF-series with an output of up to 400 pouches/min mechanical design speed.

Additionally, the transfer of aromas and odours is prevented due to a strong aroma barrier. With end-of-life in mind, our papers are recyclable according to the CEPI method and are PFAS-free.

Our range of non-food packaging papers runs seamlessly on paper machines, as proven by HGD who showcased scarves packed in delfort papers at the 2024 FackPack. Our papers can be sealed without any additional coating and can be converted into many different formats. Made with sustainably sourced pulp our papers are lightweight yet durable providing the market with a renewable packaging solution.
